La edad en ingles se dice usando SIEMPRE el verbo TO BE. Asi:

How old IS she?                             She IS 19 years old
How old IS Daniel?                        He IS 35 years old
How old ARE  your parents?          My mother IS  45 and my father IS 50
How old IS your sister?                  She IS 31 years old
How old ARE you?                        I AM 22
